Professional Experience

5/16 - CURRENT // FOUNDATIONS RECOVERY NETWORK - NASHVILLE, TN // Sr. Designer & Developer | Web & Digital Media Manager

I am presently working at Foundations Recovery Network in Nashville as the Senior Web Designer & Developer, as well as managing the Web Creative team. Day to day duties include implimenting web design and development for various web redsign projects from start til finish. Additionally I manage a team of designers and developers that work on all internal digital media and web projects.

1/13 - 5/16 // COMBUSTION - MEMPHIS, TN // Designer & Developer

During my time at Combustion Design & Advertising in Memphis I served as the lead web developer as well as a designer. Day to day duties include designing for various mediums including web, print, video, and signage. Additionally I handle all web development no matter how large or small the project. We are a small design firm, so each individual wears multiple hats; mine often include attending meetings, client management, client training, art direction and project management.

8/15 - 12/15 // MEMPHIS COLLEGE OF ART - MEMPHIS, TN // Adjunct Professor (Web Design 1)

I recently was given the unique opportunity to teach the introduction to web design and development course at Memphis College of Art. This experience included constructing the curriculum on how to design for a web based experience as well as how to technically execute their designs using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

7/09 - 1/13 // BAKER & HILL - WASHINGTON D.C. // Freelance Designer

During my time as a freelance designer, I worked for 4 years with the design company Baker & Hill. This work included web graphics, custom interactive design/production, online game design and conceptualizing, as well as web design. In my time working with Baker & Hill I was able to work for clients such as, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, TLC, Science Channel, Animal Planet, World Bank & TV One.

7/09 - 1/13 // UP LATE I CREATE - MEMPHIS, TN // Owner, Designer, Developer

In 2009 I began working as a freelance designer independently through the company name of Up Late I Create. I specialized in web design and development, but I also provided a wide variety of graphic and web design services to a broad client base. In running my own business, I gained extensive experience in time efficiency skills, client management, art direction, running a successful business, task management, and problem solving.
